The beauty and wonder of nature has inspired me since childhood, growing up where the redwood forest meets the sea.

Nature is, for me, a place to slow down, observe, and let the feelings of awe and wonder calm and inspire my soul.

There will always be acorns or seashells in my pockets after a wander~ treasures that capture my heart and find their way into my sketchbooks and paintings.

I’ve always loved to draw and I use my sketchbooks to explore and discover detail about what I’m drawing. Some of these discoveries turn into paintings or little handmade books.

Pencils, pen & ink, watercolor, and gouache are my favorite mediums.

My hope is that you feel some of the joy and wonder as you view my artwork.
